Terms & refund policy

BookYourFestival connects folklore ensembles, choirs and dance groups with festival organizers. Organizers publish their festivals and conditions; groups apply; organizers decide.

After a group's participation guarantee deposit is confirmed, both sides receive each other's contact details and arrange everything else directly.

When an organizer accepts an application, the group pays 10% of its package price to BookYourFestival as the participation guarantee deposit. The package price is the number of paying participants times the price per person of the option the group chose; gratis places are free.

The group's place is confirmed once the deposit has been received and checked.

If the organizer cancels the festival, or the festival turns out not to exist or to differ substantially from its published conditions, BookYourFestival refunds the deposit in full or, if the group prefers, transfers it to another festival on the platform.

If the group cancels its participation, the deposit is not refunded: it guaranteed the group's place, which the organizer kept free for it.

To report a problem with a festival, contact us — we check every case.

The remaining amount, and any supplements such as single rooms, extra nights or excursions, are paid directly to the organizer, when and how the organizer describes in the festival's Payment section. Those payments are agreed between the group and the organizer and are not handled by the platform.

We may update these terms. Deposits already paid are handled under the terms that applied when they were paid.
